Our bamboo cups are a 50/50 blend of bamboo fibre and BPA-free melamine, a food-safe composite, with a food-grade silicone band and lid. The blend gives the warm, natural bamboo-fibre look with the durability needed for years of reuse. We confirm the exact material and care guidance per style with your quote.
Are fibre cups cups biodegradable or compostable
No. Because they contain BPA-free melamine for durability, these cups are not home compostable or biodegradable. They are designed as a long-life reusable that replaces single-use cups over many uses, which is where their environmental benefit comes from.
Are the cups BPA-free and food-safe
Yes. The bamboo-fibre and melamine composite is food-safe and BPA-free, as are the silicone band and lid. Care guidance is included with every order.
How should I wash a fibre cup
We recommend hand washing to keep the print and finish looking their best over time, and we include care guidance with every order.
How is the logo applied
Pad printing suits the matte fibre surface and gives a crisp, durable logo, matched to your PMS colours. Screen printing is available on some styles for bolder, larger marks.
What capacities do fibre cups come in
