What are enamel camp mugs made from
Enamel camp mugs are steel with a fused porcelain-enamel coating, finished with a classic rolled rim. The coating gives the hard-wearing, glossy look and feel.
Are enamel mugs durable
Yes, they are built to last and handle outdoor use. Like all enamelware, a hard knock can chip the coating at the rim, which is part of their characterful, lived-in look.
Can I use them in the microwave or dishwasher
No microwave, as the body is steel. Hand washing is recommended to protect the print and rim, and we include care guidance with every order.
How is the logo applied
Full-colour printing reproduces detailed artwork on the enamel surface, matched to your brand colours and confirmed on your proof.
What capacities are available
Common sizes are 250ml, 300ml, 400ml and a 500ml big-serve mug. Tell us your use and we will recommend a size.
What is the minimum order and lead time
Minimums depend on the mug and decoration. Most stock mugs are ready in approximately 10 working days from artwork approval, subject to stock availability.
Are enamel mugs dishwasher safe
We recommend hand washing. The enamel finish and printed logo last longest washed gently by hand, and the steel rim means they are not microwave safe. We include care guidance with every order.
Can enamel mugs be used over a flame
Enamelware can handle heat, but we supply these as branded drinkware and recommend them for serving rather than cooking. Direct-flame and campfire use is at your own discretion, and the rim gets hot.
