Sublimation mugs for full-colour, photographic branding
Photographic, wraparound artwork fused permanently into ceramic and stoneware.
Sublimation mugs are custom ceramic and stoneware coffee mugs decorated with a dye process that fuses full-colour, photographic artwork permanently into the mug surface for vibrant, wraparound promotional branding. Businesses choose sublimation when their design needs multiple colours, photographs, gradients or edge-to-edge coverage that standard spot-colour printing cannot achieve, and because it is a dye process, full colour costs no more than a single colour. The range runs from the cost-effective Madrid 330ml stoneware mug and its two-tone version, through the Aztec 350ml double-wall ceramic cup, to fine bone china and the thermochromic Chameleon, where the design appears when hot liquid is added. Most are presented in a natural gift box, handwashing is recommended, and you can preview your logo in our free Preview Studio, with delivery Australia-wide.
How full-colour sublimation works
Print the transfer
Your full-colour artwork, a photo, a gradient or a multi-colour logo, is printed onto a sublimation transfer using special dye inks.
Heat & pressure
The transfer is wrapped onto the prepared mug and pressed at high heat, which turns the solid dye into a gas.
Permanent bond
The gas bonds into the mug surface at a molecular level, so the image becomes part of the mug, smooth to touch and built to last.
Which mug takes sublimation best
Everyday stoneware
Choose a stoneware mug like the Madrid, Black Hawk or Roma for cost-effective bulk runs and fundraising, because it gives a classic shape and a full-colour wrap at the sharpest price.
Premium bone china
Choose a fine bone china mug like the Chroma or Vogue for elegant corporate gifting, because the lightweight, refined body lifts the gift while still taking full-colour artwork.
Something distinctive
Choose the Aztec double-wall, the Madrid two-tone or the thermochromic Chameleon when you want a talking point, because each adds a feature that lifts the mug above a standard print.
